Patio Season approaches

As we enter the marvellous month of May we have some exciting news to share. Not only are the birds chirping and all the wildlife buzzing for the warm weather, so is The Mill Cafe staff!

In the next upcoming weeks we will be working hard to clean our patios so everyone can enjoy our beautiful views on our water side patio, or enjoy a nice bite to eat on our (dog friendly) street side patio.

As all the plus temperature weather is slowly creeping in, we would like to remind our guests that our patios are weather permitted and first come first seat basis for the month of May. Cold evenings and wicked weather changes might not allow us to open the patio, but bright and sunny days will.

New Menu Now Live!

That’s right friends! April showers bring May menus. We will be introducing our new food menus to kick start the first week of May. Get ready for some visits of a few fan favourites (did someone say chicken basil fusilli?!) as well as some new exciting flavours to surprise you with.

This might be the perfect time to start brainstorming for a nice Mother's Day outing for lunch or dinner. Let’s celebrate those amazing moms, followed by a stroll along the beautiful Thornbury Mainstreet strip, or along all the picturesque trails around town. Mother’s Day lunch will begin at 11:30 and (just like our patios) are on a first come first seat basis, Dinner reservations begin at 4pm for dinner service. Kitchen closes at 9pm through the weekdays and Sunday, 10pm Fridays and Saturdays. The restaurant's dining room is open till the last customer leaves.

If all this news isn’t exciting enough, we also are thrilled to share that our new summer cocktail list will be coming soon. Featuring a few classics like our famous red and white sangria’s, as well as some new flavours like our tequila pineapple shandy!

Keep an eye on our website and socials for updates and specials. Better yet just come on in, kick back and relax with some tasty food, quenching drinks, good company and stellar views! We can’t wait to see you all.

Reservation Information for The Mill Café

Please read below for information on our reservation policies:

We will happily accept walk-ins if we can however we strongly recommend reservations for dinner, and leave lunch service to first come first serve.

-We strongly suggest reservations.

-ALL Dinner Reservations get a 2 HOUR SEATING TIME

-Lunch menu runs from 11:30am - 4:00pm (NO RESERVATIONS AT LUNCH, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE) your party will not be seated until all party members are present.

-Dinner reservations run from 4:00pm - 8:30pm last seating (RESERVATIONS STRONGLY SUGGESTED) Walk-ins are still accepted until 9:00pm & guests who are already seated & dining are welcome until we close.

-We require a credit card number for large parties of 5 or more, in the event you cannot make your reservation and fail to let us know a $5.00 per person charge will be applied.

-Children Must be supervised when leaving the table (especially to the bathroom please!)

-Our outdoor seating is open May 14th, 2023 (weather permitting).

-Group seating of 10 is available outside & a maximum of 14 inside.

-We are open 7 days a week July through September, closed TUESDAYS for the rest of the year.

- Date you wish to join us & the number of guests

- Preferred reservation time (we will match our closest available seating time correlating)
